She does such an amazing job of praising God and being excited for the smallest improvements with Tracy and cheers her husband on everyday, it is very inspiring.
Tracy Update 7/4/13:
"OK finally getting a chance to sit down and do a update on Tracy! The past week has been super duper incredible with the progress that he's had in therapy!! God has absolutely been showing out this week! He's kicking the ball over 30 times! He is fist pumping is left hand up in the air about 30 times! He's raising his upper torso up from chair! He's mouthing words! Last night out of the blue he said I love you! I had my head laying on his chest and he put his left arm around me!! He rubbed my hair and face! He's holding his head up for as long as he's up in his chair which sometimes maybe 5 hours! At night in bed if he doesn't won't the covers on his left arm he moves it! These are just some of the high spots!! Yes, I have been on shouting ground along with his therapists and techs. It's simply been amazing at the fight he has got!!! Praise God, Praise God, Praise God!!!!!!!!
The trach is still in. The respiratory therapist is wanting to wait a few mores days before removing it. They want him to swallow a little bit better. I said, I've waited 5 months, it's ok to wait a little longer! Better to be safe than sorry!!!
My sweet brother Randy Perry and his entire family surprised us this afternoon by driving 4 hrs to spend the evening with us!! I was shocked to say the least!! Great having a family who care about you!! Thanks for coming!!!! We love y'all!!!
I am on the bus with the group headed to Gatlinburg Gathering in Gatlinburg, TN for Friday night at Convention Center! It's great to be with them but, I do miss my sweet man already!! My niece Brittany Johnson DeVault is staying with him at night and his parents during the day.
God, how incredible Your work in Tracy has been!!!!! I praise You from the bottom of my heart!!!!!!! There is NONE like You!!! I praise You for the miracle that is taking place in Tracy's body!!!! It's not over until You say it's over!!! I love You Sweet Precious Father!!!!!!"
The Perrys have kept touring throughout Tracys hospital stint but lead singer Joseph Habedank recently has decided to step down after 10 years with the group as well. The Perrys have brough on vocalist David Ragan to fill his spot.
Please keep Tracy and his family in your prayers as even with slight improvements there is still a long recovery road ahead.
