Tracy Stuffle, Singer of The Perrys, Latest Medical Update (Sunday Night June 23rd)

Tracy Stuffle, singer with the gospel group, The Perrys, has been battling for his life since January.

Tracy suffered a massive stroke from a vessel hemorrhage on Monday, January 21, 2013 and has been in the hospital in Nashville,Tn since.  He was in a medically included coma for close to two months and but is awake now and slowly showing more movements and improvements of motor skills.

Tracy's condition had been slowly improving but has had some set backs this week. Please keep Tracy and his family in your prayers.

Tracy's faithful wife Libbi (and fellow singer in The Perrys) has been by his side the whole time and has kept everyone posted with the latest updates on the band's Facebook page.

"Tracy has had a great day. I let him rest this morning due to being woke up every two or three hours every night. I know how tired it makes me and I can only imagine how tired it makes him.

After lunch, his dad and mom came after they got out of church. My niece Brittany Johnson DeVault came. We got him up and into his Broda chair about 2:30pm and went outside for a short time. His brother from a different mother Tim Dillman and his wife Nancy came with some more friends Scotty and Hazel Parker. It was a little too humid outside so we pushed him into the commons area and visited for a while. We put him back to bed to get him off of his bottom due to some bedsores. Then about 7:30pm our friends Gene McDonald, Teri Blankenship McDonald and their son Nathan came bearing gifts!! We got Tracy up again in his chair and took him outside again and it was much cooler. I think he enjoyed all of his friends coming to visit today. He is worn out and almost asleep. I just got finished cleaning his trach and so we are good to go tonight. I am becoming an expert at all this stuff and will make a good nurse some day!!! LOL

This week will be a challenging week for Tracy as PT and Speech start back working with him after not getting anything for the past couple of weeks due to being back and forth in the hospital. Please pray for him that he will be able to follow commands and work hard toward making progress. I am dreaming of the day when he is able to talk!

Also, thank you to Sandy Sandra Martin Holt and her husband Jerry for coming by yesterday. We had a great visit. To Mike Gibson for also coming by with encouraging words.

I pray each one of you will have a great and blessed week filled with many miracles along the way!!!

God, once again You have allowed us to have another great day of life!!! You have given us some of the most precious friends who constantly show their love and encouragement to us! God, please bless them richly because I will never be able to thank them enough for all they have done for us. Thank You God for everything that we've had to go thru and endure during this journey You have allowed us to travel on. I may not understand it, but I of this one thing I am for sure of, You have never forsaken us!!! Your grace has been and is sufficient for every one of our needs!!!! You are merciful to us and we praise Your Holy name for it!!!! You are worthy to be praised!!! I love You my Sweet heavenly Father!!!!!"
