Tom Clancy’s ‘The Division’ Release Date Xbox, PC and PS4: Ubisoft Confirms 2015 Launch

In the recent update on Ubisoft's site, the game company assured its fans that Tom Clancy's 'The Division' will release in 2015.

The update mentioned that they are putting in a serious effort to ensure the game's quality is top-notch, "We are creating something we are really proud of and we don't want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it's ready," the post read.

The action-packed game will be released on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms.

During the Q&A at Ubisoft, game producer David Polfeldt said he is excited for the game's release. Though he admitted that the game is still in its developmental stages, he confidently announced that they are speeding up the process with the help of Massive Entertainment.

"We are very happy with the dialogue we are engaging, the conversations we are having with our fans, and we plan to continue that," said Polfeldt.

Polfeldt added that Massive Entertainment's contribution will improve the video game's gameplay. He also said that at some point, during the production process, they will allow fans to participate.

"We're gonna make you part of what we do," he said.

Meanwhile, IGN revealed last May the reason behind the delay of 'The Division's' release. According to IGN's insider, the "game engine works well, it's not done, but works well. The actual game development has barely started, however."

Inadequate console support was also one of the reasons why the title is not projected to release sooner.

'The Division' was initially introduced during E3 2013, and was featured again, this year, at the E3 2014.
