‘Titanfall 2’ Release Date PS4 News: Sony Negotiating Deal with Microsoft to Launch 'Titanfall' Sequel

Considering the hype and publicity involving 'Titanfall 2', it is expected that fans will have to wait for another few months for the arrival of this first-person shooter sequel on PlayStation 4. It all depends on Sony striking a deal with Microsoft regarding the game's release on its console and the Redmond-headquartered tech titan agreeing to the terms.

The sales as well as the ratings for 'Titanfall' are soaring, and its not just the fans that want to get their hands on the sequel, developers are looking forward to it as well.

Quoting a source, Motoringcrunch.com reports that that Electronic Arts possesses the sole rights for the 'Titanfall' sequel. On the other hand, Vyralize, a gaming blog, asserts that EA always ensures that their games are experienced by players across all platforms and, hence, it is likely that 'Titanfall 2' will soon be released for PS4.

Meanwhile, analysts at Motoringcrunch.com claim that the 'Titanfall' franchise sequel will depend on the results of the first game. It may be mentioned here that 'Titanfall,' which as released for PC and Xbox One on March 11 and for Xbox 360 on April 8 this year, was a tremendous hit among Xbox One users in the UK.

However, when contacted, an EA representative remarked that the company does not comment on rumors or speculation and currently they were devoted to supporting fans worldwide who enjoy playing 'Titanfall'.

There are rumors that currently Sony is negotiating to get 'Titanfall 2' onto the PS4. Supposedly, the deal with Microsoft is going to expire soon and Sony is taking advantage of the opportunity, as the company is supposed to be trying to strike a deal with the game. Sony has claimed that if the game is released for the PlayStation, they would triple the sales compared to what Microsoft has made.
