Tim Tebow Released By Patriots / Quarterback Testifies Faith, Says "I Know Who Holds My Future"

Tim Tebow may not have a job in the NFL anymore, but his faith in God is stronger than ever. After three games with New England Patriots, in which Tebow completed less than half of his passed for 145 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, Tebow was released.

Tebow told the media he turns to God to guide him through such stressful times in his NFL career.

"I'm blessed, because of my faith, that I don't have to worry about the future because I know who holds my future," Tebow told the media. "It's something I try to live by. It really gives you a lot of peace in whatever circumstance I'm in."

Tebow later tweeted this inspirational piece of scripture:

"Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God. he is my mighty rock, my refuge."

After leading the Broncos to the playoffs in 2011, Tebow couldn't find any luck behind Mark Sanchez on the New York Jets was released after last year.

When Ryan Mallett solidified the back position behind future Hall of Famer Tom Brady, Tebow was expendable and ultimately released.
