Tim Tebow News: Ex-NFL QB's Foundation Inspires Terminally Sick Kids to Never Give Up at 4th Annual Celebrity Gala "I Feel Like I'm the Best I've ever Been'

As he saluted honorees and guest at his 4th annual Tim Tebow Celebrity Gala in Florida over the weekend, Tim Tebow did not talk much about football, or if he believes he will ever again get the opportunity to become an NFL QB.

According to a Jacksonville.com report, Tebow instead concentrated his time and energy on people like 14-year-old cancer survivor Ansley Jones, and how her sickness is now reportedly in remission.

"I just found out today," said Jones, who has been fighting acute myeloid leukemia and was one of Tebow's special guests in his Wish outreach program. "This is amazing. It's been a great day."

One appreciative parent after another went to the podium to thank to the 26-year old ex-Heisman Trophy winner and marvel about how he visited and inspired their kids to have strength as they fought their illnesses.

Jacksonville.com also reported that Tebow's Wish Foundation was aiding at least 20 kids and their families during the 2-day event.

"I'm still trying, we're always trying, that journey's never done and you're always trying to improve," said Tebow to Jacksonville.com at the event.

"Improve as a person, improve as a leader, improve as a philanthropist, a football player. Every day it's a journey and it's fun. This is one of my favorite weekends of the year."

As for returning to the NFL, Tebow revealed the following to Jacksonville.com

"I'm training nonstop, I feel like I'm the best I've ever been, working extremely hard, just loving it. Passionate about life right now, passionate about football, passionate about my foundation and the impact we're making. It's fun," he continued.

The former and New York Jets and Denver Broncos athlete was cut by the New England Patriots during the 2013 NFL preseason and did not find a new squad during the regular season.

In addition, Tebow signed a multi-year contract with ESPN to work for the SEC Network, which will debut in August 2014.

Tebow has played three seasons in the NFL, his best coming with Broncos in 2011, when he threw for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns.
