Tim Tebow News: Ex-NFL QB Inspires People at Momentum Week 2014 Event 'God Said Choose to Finish Strong'

Former Florida Gators QB Tim Tebow attended an event yesterday where he was an inspiration to people who went to the event. Tebow made a speech at the Momentum Week event which took place at the South-East Christian Church last night. The Momentum week event started on April 6 and it will end on April 15. Before he spoke yesterday, the event was sold out. The ticket prices ranged from $ 8-12 dollars, but the message that the audience heard from the man who started the "Tebowmania" craze was priceless.

"I don't want to waste time wondering why people don't like me, but invest time finding ways to love them. Stop looking at yourselves and start looking and loving other people. To really serve you have to think about other people's needs and what matters, said Tebow to the audience at the Momentum Week event yesterday. "We all need to be reaching out and caring for the least of these. I go because I want to make a difference. It's not about being perfect it's about pointing them to the One who is perfect! You do need to help somewhere, because we are all called to ministry."

Tebow also expressed to the audience how his Christian faith impacts his life.

"God can take a little courage and a little boldness and turn it into something so big. If you love something and you're passionate about it... then you'll sacrifice. Til this day I'm still learning how to apply those memory verses that I learned at 4 & 5 yrs old," said 26-year old ex-Heisman Trophy winner to people at attendance at the South-East Christian Church during the Momentum Week event yesterday. "I don't know what my future holds, but I know who holds my future. I want to live a life of significance and I want to finish strong, because God said Choose to finish strong."

The former New York Jets and Denver Broncos athlete was released by the New England Patriots during the 2013 NFL preseason and did not find a new squad during the regular season. Tebow signed a multi-year contract with ESPN to work for the SEC Network, which will debut in August 2014. Tebow has played three seasons in the NFL, his best coming with Broncos in 2011, when he threw for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns.
