Tiger Woods, the World's most famous golfer for winning over 79 PGA tours, has reportedly been dropped from the face of EA Games this week. EA Sports announced this week that it would be ending its partnership with Tiger Woods after nearly a decade of working together. Tiger Woods has spent the last 15 years with his face pictured on the popular PGA Tour video game. The decision to drop Tiger Woods from the video game was reportedly mutual between Woods and EA by  stating, "times are changing and EA had to re-evaluate the partnership.and so did we, " stated Daryl Holt, EA Vice President. "We've always been big fans of Tiger's and we wish him continued success in all of his future endeavors.

The popular sports game was really ever known due to Tiger Wood's face being on the front of the game, so EA is still very unsure wether or not this partnership ending will effect their sales. "We had an incredible run Outside of John Madden, you would be hard pressed to find a sports figure that meant as much to a video game company as Tiger meant to EA." stated Mark Steinberg, Tiger Woods agent. Despite the fact that the PGA Tour video game is popular, supposedly Tiger Woods is on speaking terms with another company about possibly having naming right's for another video game. There is still not a for sure answer to what company is currently speaking with Wood's.
