The Atlanta Falcons will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 18 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Falcons (1-1) will host the Buccaneers (0-2) in 'Hotlanta' when the two NFL squads go toe-to-toe on live national television this Thursday.

The Falcons are trying to rebound from their recent 24-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, where Atlanta QB Matt Ryan threw for 233 yards, which resulted in a touchdown and three brutal interceptions on Sunday.

"At the half, we knew we were right in the game," said Ryan to reporters after the game, "But when you turn the ball over three times, you're not going to win. I have to be better. That's the way it goes sometimes."

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers is looking to win their first game of the season after losing to the St. Louis Rams by 19-17 on September 14.

Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith revealed another method that he used to study his teams' NFC South rival in preparation of their upcoming match.

"Of course [HBO's] Hard Knocks is a great show when someone else is doing it of course," said Lovie Smith to reporters, according to an ESPN report, "We got a chance to know the Atlanta Falcons fairly well from watching the show. A lot of their personalities really did come out, coaches and players, I might add."
