The Oklahoma City Thunder (52-18) will face off against the Dallas Mavericks (42-29) at the American Airlines Center tonight in Dallas. The Thunder will be the big favorites for tonight's game, having one of the most impressive records in the NBA so far this season.

Tonight, the Thunder will try to defeat the Mavericks and extend their winning streak to five. On March 16, the Mavericks ended the Thunder's previous seven game winning streak by the final score of 109-86 in Oklahoma City.

Now, the Thunder are going to attempt to return the favor and beat the Mavericks at home. The Thunder defeated the Denver Nuggets by the final score of 117-96 last night. The Thunder currently trail the San Antonio Spurs by two games for the best record in the Western Conference. 

"You have a system that's functioning," said Thunder player Caron Butler to reporters. "The only thing guys got to do is plug into that system and play a certain style and way and give a certain type of effort, and things just continue to move forward."

The Mavericks are currently tied for the 8th and final playoff spot with the Phoenix's Suns.

The Mavericks recently lost a game to the Brooklyn Nets by the final score of 107-104 in overtime on Sunday. Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki scored only 10 points on a rare off night for the former NBA Champion. He only made 2 of his 12 field goal attempts.
