Rumors also allege that the third 'Thor' movie will be featuring a new main character based on its famous comic version, by the name of Amora the Enchantress. In addition to this, avid fans of the superhero franchise may also expect award-winning actress Natalie Portman to return as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as the villain, Loki, and of course, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Asgard's God of Thunder.

Earlier reports have named Craig Kyle, Marvel Studios' former senior VP for production, as the writer allegedly chosen to work on 'Thor 3', along with Christopher Yost, 'Thor: The Dark World' writer.

The original 'Thor' movie released in 2011 has grossed nearly $450 million to date, while its sequel, 'Thor: The Dark Days' is presently nearing the $645 million mark since its release in November of last year. 'Thor 3' is slated for a 2016 release by Marvel Studios.
