'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Adam Newman Returning in New Episode As Birthday Clown

Fans of the popular daytime soap 'The Young and the Restless' have been waiting for Michael Muhney's replacement to be revealed, but reports state that a new actor will not be cast for at least two more months. However, new spoilers from Celebrity Dirty Laundry reveal that Adam Newman will finally appear on an upcoming episode of Y&R.

Adam Newman, who was stripped from the show last January, will be coming back in a peculiar way. He will appear as a performing clown at his own son's birthday party. This will be an attempt to get close to his son Connor, but at the same time, keep secret the fact that he's alive.

Being the loving father that he is, he manages to send Connor a gift for his birthday, besides his attendance. The present will not lead Chelsea, his wife, to suspect that Adam is alive, because she will figure that it's from Connor's grandfather, Victor Newman.

While this spoiler may come across as farfetched, it actually holds some water. Various media outlets have also sided with the theory that the clown will be Adam Newman.

Evidence for this claim stems from a Y&R writer, Jean Pissanante. In regards to the birthday party, Passanate mentioned, "Maybe Chelsea should worry about that clown!"

Everyone living in the show's Genoa City believes Adam Newman to be dead. However, the show has been using clips of the character's hands as a temporary replacement for months now, and each and every time, fans hope that the camera will pan up and finally reveal an actor.

This time around, Adam Newman may appear front and center, despite the fact that he'll be slathered in clown make-up.
