'The Young and the Restless' Cast News, Spoilers: Michael Muhney Unlikely to Feature
Fans of The Young and the Restless will finally have the answers they've been waiting for as news regarding Michael Muhney's exit from the show has been disclosed.
Muhney appeared on The Young and the Restless as Adam Newman for the last time in January, following his involvement in an alleged sexual harassment case. Although the actor has been trying to return to the show since then, as the character he portrayed is still alive, latest reports say that Muhney has joined an altogether different soap - General Hospital.
In fact, even the actor's mother has rejected all rumors about Muhney returning to The Young and the Restless. His mother has also dismissed the reports that the actor reportedly groped Hunter King, his co-actor, prior to his firing from the show.
Dirty Laundry reports that she tweeted, "Michael gave the answers to his exit in his last interview," adding, "As to rumors - gossip rags quoted an anonymous fan who posted on a message board. Silly. There's never a need to comment on rumors. They're never-ending!"
In the meantime, fans of The Young and the Restless are also divided over the idea that the actor has been fired from the show. In fact, some of the fans have even boycotted the show and have started campaigning for the actor's return.
All said and done, Muhney has not spoken a word on the controversy involving him or his possible return to The Young and the Restless, after he posted an evasive tweet earlier this year.
However, latest reports say that Muhney was found interacting with General Hospital star Rich Hearst via Twitter. Their tweets have made several fans think that the two actors have hit it off while filming for General Hospital.
