'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Spoilers: 'Slabtown' Episode Reveals Beth’s Mysterious Storyline, Introduces New Threat

While they have successfully eliminated the termites, it now appears that the survivors in 'The Walking Dead' will have to deal with new problems when the show returns for Season 5, Episode 4 titled "Slabtown" on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 11 pm on AMC.

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode of the popular post-apocalyptic horror drama series says that in addition to introducing a new threat, Season 5 Episode 4 will reveal the story of what happened to Beth (Emily Kinney).

Initially, the new group of survivors, who will be making their debut in "Slabtown," will seem nice, at first.

However, experience from the events at Terminus says that viewers should not be fooled by a sweet smile or anything of the sort. As it was reported earlier, in the next episode, the new characters will reveal their dark side gradually, in addition to their connection to Beth.

In 'The Walking Dead' Season 4, Episode 13, viewers saw Beth kidnapped suddenly, right from under the nose of Daryl (Norman Reedus). Since then viewers have been completely in the dark regarding her whereabouts.

However, Beth's perplexing storyline will be eventually disclosed in the upcoming episode. It may be recalled that in Season 5 Episode 3, Daryl spotted the car that snatched Beth and followed the vehicle into the night along with Carol (Melissa McBride).

Later, he returns to the church with an unknown guest(s) following right behind him. The episode concluded with Daryl shouting into the woods, "Come on out."

The next episode will possibly reveal who was with Daryl - Carol, Beth or a new 'Walking Dead' character. Meanwhile, a sneak peek video of the episode helps the viewers to get to the bottom of Beth's mystifying plotline.

The video clip shows Beth waking up in a hospital, with a wound on her head and an IV in her arm. As she tries to leave the room, Beth realizes that she has been locked in. Following some screaming, Beth hears someone walking towards the room. She soon pulls out the needle with the aim to use it as a weapon.

However, two people appear as a doctor and police officer, and tell Beth "everything's okay," and ask her to drop her "IV-weapon". Before asking Beth how she was feeling, they announce themselves as Dr. Steven Edwards and Officer Dawn Lerner.
