A behind the scenes look at "The Walking Dead" season 5 has been released by AMC on YouTube, and it promises to be one of the most ambitious first episodes of the series.

"This episode is so disturbing. Some of the stuff they shot yesterday, I don't know if it'll make it to TV," said Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, in the video.

"There's a lot more action. There's a lot more zombies," said prop master John Sanders.

The video does not offer too much as far as plot or storyline is concerned, but the characters are seen filming a number of action scenes.

"It's the most ambitious first episode I think we've attempted," said Andrew Lincoln, who plays lead character Rick Grimes. "If this is anything to go by, I think this is going to be the best season yet."

The new season will premiere in October, and the rumor is that a major character will be killed off. In addition, the city of Terminus will be thoroughly explored in terms of what is really going on.

"In our premiere episode of season 5 we're going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they're doing, why they're doing it, what's going on with them," executive producer/show creator Robert Kirkman said.

The main character rumor can be taken with a grain of salt as Kirkman joked about fan favorite character Daryl being killed off.

Speaking of Daryl, who is played by Norman Reedus, he feel the new script is one of the show's best.

"These scripts are the best scripts so far, and I'm really just excited to be back at it," Reedus said to Entertainment Weekly, "There are a lot of characters right now, so there are a lot of really different personalities on set. And it's super interesting, everyone's really bringing it. It's going great. It's so dynamic because it's so fast-paced and so complicated. It's great to be back."
