"The Walking Dead" season 5 is fast approaching and today a screenshot of fan favorite Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) was revealed online.

Released by Entertainment Weekly, Dixon is seen gagged and bond with bloody bruises on his face. Last season the group was captured by what appears to be Cannibals of the town Terminus. See the image here. 

The picture shows that without the doubt it appears the group has been separated, and the lovable Daryl is on his own. However, the cliffhanger is that no further information has been revealed.

A behind the scenes look at "The Walking Dead" season 5 has been released by AMC on YouTube, and it promises to be one of the most ambitious first episodes of the series.

"This episode is so disturbing. Some of the stuff they shot yesterday, I don't know if it'll make it to TV," said Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, in the video.

"There's a lot more action. There's a lot more zombies," said prop master John Sanders.

The video does not offer too much as far as plot or storyline is concerned, but the characters are seen filming a number of action scenes.

"It's the most ambitious first episode I think we've attempted," said Andrew Lincoln, who plays lead character Rick Grimes. "If this is anything to go by, I think this is going to be the best season yet."
