While fans will have to wait four months to know what "The Walking Dead" Season 5 has in store, many are left concerned that one of their favorite characters may be killed off in the new series.

It seems as though Glenn will reunite with Maggie, but may die early in the new season - all this is scheduled to premiere sometime in October on AMC Network.

While rumors seldom turn out to be true, The Spoiling Dead recently posted a claim on Facebook that several sources indicated that producers have already filmed Glenn's death! This gains ground from the fact that even Alanna Masterson, who portrays Tara in "The Walking Dead," has tweeted "When someone is gone."

Some sources also revealed that Steven Yeun, who plays Glenn, has been given an emotional farewell by the unit.

We shall never know for sure whether Glenn has already been killed off or Masterson really lost someone close until the show premieres. Nevertheless, some other things hint that the rumors may turn out to be true; firstly, no character was killed off in Season 4 of "The Walking Dead," which means that all the characters will be in some jeopardy when the new season begins. In fact, Terminus is a very dangerous and messed up place. Since no nobody was killed in Season 4's finale, it may indicate that there is some shock in store for fans in Season 5.

In all probability, Glenn might actually be one of the characters who will be killed off. In fact, even the character was killed off in the comic. Although the comic and the TV series are very dissimilar, there is possibility of the character being killed off while on Hilltop Colony - a place he considers to be safe. He is in search of such a place due to Maggie's preganacy.

Nevertheless, we all will need to wait until the October premiere to see whether Glenn will die.
