Fans already know about the upcoming major character deaths in 'The Walking Dead' Season 5, but AMC's latest promotional poster for the show revealed some additional information. Spoilers claim that the survivors will not only have to endure the Walkers this time around, but a human threat as well.

Spectators who attended the Fan Expo Canada in Toronto this last weekend graced actress Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie Greene, with questions on the possibility of the character getting pregnant. The rumors stemmed from the comic version of the story that Maggie is pregnant with Glenn's child following the possibility that Steve Yeun's character eventually dies.

The circumstances are a breath of fresh air especially that Maggie's potential lovechild signals hope and new beginnings for the group. Cohan teased, "There are a lot of people who read the comics and you can appreciate that the show does divert from the comics. There is a lot in store for all of us. I think this season features more monumental change for all of us on this stage."

In an interview with IGN, TWD writers revealed that fans will learn so much more about the show's characters, including Beth Greene, when the season premieres. Emily Kinney's character went missing on the mid-season finale of Season 4 aboard an unidentified car. "No one is ever safe," executive director Robert Kirkman says, and implications for survival will be against each other.

'The Walking Dead' Season 5 returns to AMC on October 12 at 9 pm EST.
