Fans of The CW's hit show "Vampire Diaries" will be excited to hear that the executive producers revealed a plethora of spoilers at this past Saturday's PaleyFest panel. TO hear what executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries had to say, read on.

According to TV Guide, Plec spoke about the possibility of Caroline and Stefan growing closer in coming episodes.

Plec also spoke about what's in store for Elena and Stefan, and how their relationship will change.

"We dig deep into this idea of the universe drawing them together. It leads Elena and Stefan to a lot of conversations to their love story and free will," the executive producer said at PaleyFest.

Caroline Dries spoke about the death of Katherine, and her possible return to the show.

"We really wanted to pay off her character by having the most epic death possible. We wanted it to feel really different than any death on the show. It was such a profound exit for that character," Dries said, according to TV Guide.
