'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' Release Dec 2013, Starring Ben Stiller & Kristen Wiig, Watch Extended Trailer Here (VIDEO)

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitt is a new adventure-comedy film starring Ben Stiller who also directed the movie. It is based off of James Thurber's short story from 1939 and is set to open up on Christmas Day 2013 (watch official trailer above). 

Official Plot: "James Thurber's classic story of a daydreamer who escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action. When his job along with that of his co-worker (Kristen Wiig) are threatened, Walter takes action in the real world embarking on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined."

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty stars Ben Stiller as Walter Mitty, Kristen Wiig as Cheryl Melhoff (Walt's love interest), Adam Scott as Mitty's boss, Sean Penn as Sean O'Connell (arctic explorer), Patton Oswalt as eHarmony customer service rep, Shirley MacLaine as Mitty's mother and Kathryn Hahn as Odessa Mitty (Walt's sister). 

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty is directed by Ben Stiller and produced by Stuart Cornfeld, Samuel Goldwyn Jr, John Goldwyn and Ben Stiller.

 The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty played at the New York Film Festival in October and is set to open to theaters in the U.S. next month on Christmas Day (2013). Will you head to the movies to check it out?
