‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Season 8 Episode 5: Cynthia Bailey Rages, Ratings Drop Further?

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8 ratings declined while Cynthia Bailey's offensive side was seen in season 8 episode 5.

According to LALATE, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8 did not have an explosive start secondary to its falling ratings. It was noted that 700,000 less people tuned in to the Bravo series, following the Nov. 29 episode. While the episode featured an epic war between Bailey and Porsha Williams, the show only got 2.8 ratings, which was substantially lower as compared to the 3.5 average ratings in 2014.

According to reports, the decline in the show's ratings was not shocking, since the season 8 premiere on Nov. 8 had a million less viewers that the season 7 premiere, which also managed 3.8 million viewers. "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8 reportedly got 2.617 ratings prior to the Nov. 29 episode.

Meanwhile, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8 episode 5, which is entitled "Where is the Love Boat?" saw Bailey's different side in a physical battle. According to Atlanta Journal Constitution, Bailey, who was drunk, felt that she was disrespected by a vagrant comment made by Porsha Williams, who felt puzzled.

Bailey's was defensive while Williams had been laughing and joking with the former the whole day, feeling that she had not done anything right. Instead of parting ways to stay away from each other, they had gotten into each other's spaces, with Bailey kicking Williams in the gut. Bailey exclaimed "Don't put your hand in my face b*****!" On the other hand, Williams said that she was going to catch Bailey's b****.

Also, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8 episode 5 saw Peter come back home from Charlotte to comfort Williams, coercing her girl to work on their wedding. Then, Kandi went to the doctor and encountered some disturbing news. Kenya and Williams also met to talk about the conflict between Bailey and the latter, turning the conversation to the events in the past.

The ladies decided to unite the group and rekindle damaged relationships.
