If the rumors making the rounds online are to be believed, NeNe Leakes may leave 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' after the upcoming seventh season, which premieres via Bravo on November 9.

As it stands, there's a strong chance that the rumors may actually turn out to be true, as the actress, TV personality, fashion designer, and author had some choice words when talking about the TV series.

Reports about these rumors first started appearing after Leakes herself hinted that it was time to put the show behind her. On October 25, the star tweeted, "Growth is a beautiful thing! Know when to get off a sinking ship"

Even though the tweet didn't specifically mention 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta', some feel that this is just her way of telling all her fans that it's time for her to go.

Meanwhile, Celeb Dirty Laundry published a follow-up tweet that read, "Removin URself from situations that cause u 2 cope n unhealthy ways is the first step n realizin U r worth it! #motivationalmonday. [sic]"

According to the website, these tweets are clear jabs at 'The Real Housewives'. At the same time, Celeb Dirty Laundry speculates that Leakes may possibly not even last for the whole 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7. She may jump ship long before then, the gossip site reported.

The rumors gain ground after a recent report by TMZ, said that NeNe Leakes opted out of a trip to the Phillipines, due to a health condition. Apparently, RHoA is already there and filming for the show, however, without NeNe Leakes.

Technically speaking, there were important reasons for Leakes to avoid the trip which would have involved a 20-hour flight, as Leakes has had a long history of problems with blood clots around her lungs.

From the medical point of view, flying long-distance (and for long hours) can lead to severe problems for people with blood clot issues.

As it stands, neither NeNe Leakes nor her representatives have confirmed or denied the rumors about her leaving the show for good.
