Spoilers for 'The Originals' Season 2 reveal that Klaus Mikhaelson, played by Joseph Morgan, will be facing some serious peril when the series returns on CW. Apparently, the battle over New Orleans will see some additional soliders as a werewolf named Aiden, played by Colin Woodell, will appear to fight the good fight.

Described as 'respected and feared', Aiden will be teaming up with the witches and will be willing to do anything to accomplish his goal of eliminating vampires in the French Quarter.

Among the newly formed alliances his partnership with the already very powerful witch, Davina (Danielle Campbell), who with the werewolf's aid, will discover a new power that she possesses which she never had the chance to explore before. Consequently, Davina's new power will put Klaus in an even more difficult situation as he has already been overpowered by the young witch once before.

Davina's new power will not be the only bump in the road ahead for the hybrid Mikhaelson, as it appears that both of his parents, the Original Witch, Esther (Alice Evans), and Original vampire, Mikael (Sebastian Roché) (who Klaus had attempted to kill in Mystic Falls in 'Vampire Diaries' Season 3) will be back with a vengeance.

However, some speculate that since Klaus just has his firstborn with the werewold Haley, his parents might actually lighten up.

'The Originals' is a spin-off from the hit TV series 'The Vampire Diaries', and its second season is scheduled to premiere October 6 on CW.
