CW's vampire family series, The Originals, returns to prime time for its fourth season later this Fall, coming with two brand new characters and an altered Hayley. The Wire's Sonja John will be playing Lenore, while Teenwolf's Daniel Sharman is Kaleb in Season 4.

Kaleb, a handsome and charming witch, is said to operate a coven which lures unsuspecting women and creates potential chaos for the people of French Quarter.

Executive producer Julie Plec talks about how Hayley transforms into a tormented soul following the death of her hybrid child, Hope Michaelson.

"We're going to see a very broken, a very lost Hayley. She doesn't know who she is anymore. She not only doesn't know where she came from, she doesn't know who she is right now. It's sad and it's heartbreaking," Plec told E! Online.

In a spoiler report published by Entertainment Weekly, Plec revealed that in Season 2 there is going to be a werewolf invasion, and Francesca will be in charge of ensuring vengeance against the vampires.

"There's a lot of wolves that Klaus was aligned with that were all looking to Hayley as their queen, but now she's no longer a werewolf, she's a hybrid, and there's no love lost there for that species. So they're going to be kind of stranded without a leader, and we're going to have to see who steps in and takes that role of alpha," Plec added.
