The CW's new hit show "The Originals" shocked fans when they wrote Rebekah Mikaelson off the show. However now it seems as if Rebekah could make a comeback. For spoilers from the actress who plays Rebekah, read on.

Claire Holt plays Rebekah on "The Originals" and the actress recently sat down for an interview with TV Guide Magazine. She explained her abrupt departure for the show.

"I wasn't pushed out. I didn't quit midseason. This was something we discussed form the start. I made a life choice, not a career choice. I made a choice to come home for a while. I realized I hadn't seen people that I loved and cared about for a while. It was so tough for me," she said.

The actress went on to say that she believes Rebekah will come back to the show.

"As far as I'm concerned, this is a temporary hiatus," the actress told TV Guide Magazine.

Holt went on to express what she hopes to see in the coming episodes of "The Orginals."

"I do realize that I'm so not ready to let go of the Mikaelsons, so I hope there are many more stories to tell."
