'The Originals' Season 1 Episode 9 Synopsis: Klaus and Marcel Team Up Against Humans?

Klaus [Joseph Morgan] and Marcel [Charles Michael Davis] say they're sworn enemies. But the two used to be quite close. Will the two ever reconcile their differences or can only one survive the season?

In tonight's episode 9 "Reigning Pain in New Orleans" Klaus shows his sensitive side to his former protégé, surprising Marcel. The heart-to-heart about Klaus's past won't last long as it looks like the humans decide to turn against them. Will the former friends team up, putting their own feud on hold?

Meanwhile, Hayley [Phoebe Tonkin] will seek help from Rebekah [Claire Holt] and Elijah [Daniel Gillies] when the New Orleans werewolves are threatened? But by whom? The humans?

Here's the official synopsis for tonight's episode:

"Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), deeply conflicted by recent events, is surprised when Klaus (Joseph Morgan) opens up to him about some of his past indiscretions. Cami (Leah Pipes) tries to make sense of cryptic messages she's come across and is disturbed when she gains some insight into Klaus' past. Meanwhile, in a surprising turn of events, the human faction takes matters into their own hands, resulting in a violent confrontation. Elsewhere, when Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) learns of a plan to harm the werewolves in the bayou, she turns to Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) for help. After heading to the bayou, they run into a werewolf named Eve (guest star Tasha Ames), who has information that leads them to a shocking discovery."

The Originals airs Tuesday nights at 8 PM on The CW.
