'The Originals' Season 2 Premiere: Episode 1 Entitled 'Rebirth'
'The Originals' will return for Season 2 on Monday night, Oct. 6, at 8 pm ET on The CW Network with the premiere episode entitled "Rebirth."
Aussie actress Phoebe Tokin, who portrays Hayley in the show, revealed that in 'The Originals' Season 2 fans will see Original hybrid Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley having a stronger connection following the birth of their daughter, Hope.
On that note, Haley will also transform into a hybrid, like Klaus. In a recent interview, Phoebe Tonkin also confirmed that there will, however, be no romantic relationship between the two.
Talking to Hollywire TV, Phoebe Tokin disclosed some things that will happen to her character in the upcoming new season, particularly in the romance department.
According to the 25-year-old actress, 'The Originals' Season 2 begins with Hayley actually not knowing how to cope with her new hybrid condition, and she will seek guidance from Klaus, though he is not the best person to take advice from, especially on issues like being a hybrid.
Phoebe Tokin further revealed that nothing romantic will happen between Klaus and Hayley in 'The Originals' Season 2. "They're both pretty volatile characters. Which is hard," she explained.
Replying to a question as to what will happen to the romantic connection between Hayley and Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Phoebe Tonkin disclosed that things will be different between them in the new season.
She teased that Hayley and Elijah will act as if they are meeting each other again for the first time. "She kind of puts up a wall because she doesn't want to be hurt," Tonkin elucidated.
As far as Klaus' love life is concerned, the fans can only find out about the Original hybrid's romantic past through flashback scenes after 'The Vampire Diaries' actress Nina Dobrev appears in 'The Originals' Season 2 as a Petrova doppelganger named Tatia.
In the meantime, a report by WetPaint revealed what 'The Originals' executive producer Michael Narducci responded to the people asking about the future of the Klaus-Caroline or "Klaroline" relationship in the CW spinoff series.
Narducci said, "It doesn't feel like there's an easy way to make people drop what they're doing in Mystic Falls and come to New Orleans, and certainly once our story lines get rolling, it's going to be very obvious that it'll be very impossible for our characters to take a vacation and go to Mystic Falls."
