FOX's "The Mindy Project" Episode 9 titled "Mindy Is a Racist" started with Morgan trying to get over his fear of dogs when Sarah lets loose a rotweiler on him. Instead of going for the arm protector, the dog goes straight for his growing when Tamra shoots Morgan with a tranquilizer gun three times. Peter becomes worried about being a junior partner as he talks to Mindy about having more responsibility. Danny tries to charm a mom-to-be to write something good about the practice when he realizes that the women owns a 'white power' site and in turn writes less than average reviews about the 'color' of the partners and their behavior. 

Mindy, Jeremy, and Danny talk with their lawyer about the possibility of having a lawsuit on their hands when they come up with a plan to have Mindy and Tamra write a statement saying it is a non-racist environment. The lawyer and Danny have a one-on-one and discuss how to change the subject when they start to have a hot make-out session. Tamra and Mindy's statement doesn't go so well when Mindy insults Ray-Ron and in turn makes Tamra leave the restaurant. The next morning at the office, Tamra stands up with the strike people and says shes been a victim of race at the office by no other than, Mindy. Mindy finally stands up for the associates and ends the strike by speaking to the people. Episode 9, "Mindy Lahiri Is a Racist" ends with the Shulman and Associates giving Peter more responsibility within the practice and Mindy saving the group from a possible race lawsuit.
