'The Killing' TV Series Brought Back for a Fourth Season By Netflix

 

"The Killing", a AMC TV series that aired for only three seasons is being brought back for it's second try at stardom by Netflix. "The Killing" is an american crime drama that is based upon the Danish television series, "Forbrydelson". The series is set in Seattle where its follows the various murder investigations done by homicide detectives, Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder. "The Killing" originally aired on April 3, 2011 and concluded in July of 2012. AMC finally cancelled the tv series in September of 2013, but Netflix has officially picked it up for its fourth season. The Tv series will be strictly shown on Netflix and will be a six-episode series. 

"The Killing" lasted for two seasons on AMC before getting cancelled, than was revived again for a third season, only to cancelled for another time. Both two main characters will return to the show this Fall. " The rich, serialized storytelling in the "Killing" thrives on Netflix, and we believe that it is only fitting to give Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder a proper send off", stated Cindy Holland, Vice President of Netflix. "We are looking forward to offering fans-both exsisting and new- a series that we know is perfectly suited for on-demand viewing." There is no word yet on when Season 4 of "The Killing" will be aired.
