The latest trailer for the upcoming blockbuster franchise film, 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1', was released on Wednesday and it left viewers in awe as heroine Katniss Everdeen bravely takes on the role of the Mockingjay.

Stepping back, the second movie in the series, 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' ended with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) being rescued by Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and several other rebels after the barrier surrounding the games was destroyed.

The moment Katniss regained consciousness, she immediately looks for Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), who was caught by the Capitol even before Gale had the chance to rescue him, leaving Katniss confused, disheartened, and filled with rage all at the same time.

On that note, one of the most interesting turn of events that the audience can expect to see in the upcoming movie is that Peeta will take the side of the Capitol.

President Snow released a video from the Capitol TV showing Peeta and explaining the benefits of peace and the consequences of war. Peeta seemed unfazed and quite apathetic in the videos, which leave the viewers wondering how did the Capitol manage to turn Peeta to their side?

While the first trailer revealed a rather frazzled Katniss Everdeen as she discovers that Peeta Mellark is one with the Capitol, the latest official trailer shows a brave and strong character.

The new clip opens with Katniss shocked as she gazes upon her hometown, District 12, which is completely destroyed.

The clip also shows a teary-eyed Peeta warning Katniss "They're coming Katniss-they're gonna kill everyone," as he is pulled back by the guards from the Capitol.

"Miss Everdeen, prepare to pay the ultimate price," President Snow (Donald Sutherland) exclaimed.

Jennifer Lawrence delivers a very emotional and powerful line "I have a message for President Snow-If we burn, you burn with us!" the heroine declaring a warning to Capitol President Snow.

'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1' will premiere on Nov. 20 in Australia and Nov. 21 in Canada, United Kingdom and United States.
