'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Release Date, Spoilers: Thorin's Final Words, Bilbo's Mithril Shirt

The Lord of the Rings, the epic trilogy will be seen culminating in a new release this year in 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies', from Director Peter Jackson. According to the original novel, the elves of Mirkwood, the dwarves of the Lonely Mountain, the eagles of the Misty Mountain and the men of the Long Lake will clash with the army of the wargs and the goblins of Moria.

Gandalf, the shape-shifting Beorn and Bilbo Baggins will have important roles in the outcome of the war, according to the original novel text. While 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' needs to finish off the battle between Smaug and Laketown and also needs to show Thorin win over the Lonely Mountain once again, fans have to wait till the actual release on 17th December 2014 to uncover all the surprises.

Originally named, 'There and Back Again', the film changed its title to 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' referencing the epic battle that is to take place. Thorin Oakenshield will pass away in the movie with his final words being, "If more people valued home above gold the world would be a merrier place."

Also, fans don't yet know how, but it seems like Bilbo Baggins gets the mithril shirt. Also, Tauriel has a tragic end in the movie. Also, after his journey of 13 months, Bilbo returns home exhausted and still terrified by the deaths of his friends, only to find that his belongings and his place was auctioned by others presuming he was dead.
