'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Release Date, Spoilers: Smaug's Revenge

'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' is set to release globally in December year, and fans from all over the world are gearing up for the premiere.

The film is set 60 years before the events of the 'Lord of Rings' movies. It is based on the book 'The Hobbit' by J.R.R Tolkien, and is one of the most profitable franchises currently.

The story brings in Thorin and his army of dwarves in their attempt to take back their homeland from Smaug. Smaug is the dragon, and in a recent trailer of the movie, he is shown taking his revenge by destroying Lake-town.

Thorin is in pursuit of the treasure and obsessed with it. Meanwhile Sauron sends legions of Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain without anyone's knowledge.

The movie is action packed with lots of adventure as Gandalf takes a part in the war. The war is endless, with lots of twists and turns.

It has a long cast and crew of many credible actors which makes the movie all the more interesting to watch. The trailer definitely looks very promising.

'Hobbit 3' is set to release on December 10, 2014 in Germany, Sweden, France and Netherlands. They'll be among the first countries to watch the movie followed by countries like New Zealand and Iraq, wherein the movie is releasing on December 11.

The release for the U.S, Greece and Singapore will be on December 18 and Australia stands among the last countries wherein the movie will be released on December 26.
