'The Hobbit: Battle Of Five Armies' Sneak Peek, Official Teaser Video Released

The production team for the highly anticipated 'The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies' film recently released a 15-second sneak peek for the new teaser trailer that was presented during this year's San Diego Comic-Con event.

In a Facebook statement, Director Peter Jackson announced, "Many of you asked about the Hobbit Trailer. Yes - there will be a Hobbit Trailer. But like the previous two years, it's not going to be released until around Oct. The complex VFX work required to produce the battle shots we're all wanting to see are not far enough along yet."

Although the Director himself dismissed the possibility that fans will be able to see the full-length official trailer soon, he did say that some early footage will be made available.

As promised, 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies - Official Teaser Trailer' was released and announced via the film's Twitter page, the post read, "The new teaser trailer for #TheHobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will be unveiled tomorrow at 12pm PT / 3pm ET! http://instagram.com/p/q9zm4pQc9l/."

Recently, during the Comic-Con event, Stephen Colbert, Jackson, and several cast members took to the stage at the Hall H-Panel to present the new teaser video. It was also announced that Jackson's goal was to have 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' match the tone of the 'The Lord of the Rings' series by the end of the movie.
