Fox's hit show "The Following" is full of surprises. In the most recent episode a major character, Emma, was violently killed. However many fans are holding out hope that she is still alive. Is Emma merely in a coma? For spoilers from the actress who plays Emma, Valorie Curry, read on.

Valorie Curry recently sat down for an interview with TV Guide Magazine, where she discussed her character's supposed death. And according to Curry, it seems like Emma's death is very final.

"It's so funny, because people are on Twitter like, 'She's just in a coma! Maybe she's alive.' I'm like, she was stabbed, she was thrown out a window, and then staked like a vampire. There's no coming back from impaling," the actress said.

Curry also went on to discuss how Emma's death will impact the next episode of the show.

"There's one person in this world who mourns Emma. ... There's one person who really has a reaction, who mourns her. You'll see who that is, and may or may not be surprised by who that is," she said.

The actress remained tightlipped about what's in store for the end of the season, but hinted that Emma might not be the only character to be killed off.

"I think they shot three different endings, and I'm not even sure which one they've gone with. The story was kind of changing a lot. ... I'll watch it with everybody else. Anyone and everyone could really go," Curry said.
