‘The Flash’ Season 1 Spoilers: Episode 3 ‘Things That Can’t Be Outrun’ Synopsis, Promo Photos

Viewers who caught the latest episode of CW's 'The Flash' can recall that the S.T.A.R team is slowly unifying. This will be essential, as the team will need to band together to face another devious villain, the Mist, in Episode 3, entitled "Things That Can't Be Outrun."

The last episode of 'The Flash', entitled "Fastest Man Alive," showed the S.T.A.R Labs team working together. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) was encouraged by Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) to face his meta-human enemies, while the other S.T.A.R members showed their support for Allen, including Detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin). The S.T.A.R team's unity will reportedly be needed in the next episode entitled "Things That Can't Be Outrun." when Flash meets another new enemy.

According to the synopsis of Episode 3, Flash and his team will have to face a new villain by the name of The Mist.

S.T.A.R. and Flash will work hand-in-hand to capture Kyle Nimbus (guest star Anthony Carrigan) who doubles as The Mist, another meta-human villain who has the ability to dissolve himself and transform into deadly gas which can consume his enemies.

Meanwhile, they will also remember the tragic night that the particle accelerator exploded and unfortunately killed Caitlin's (Danielle Panabaker) fiancé, Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell).

Detective Joe West finally chooses to visit Henry (John Wesley Shipp) in prison after several years, but things take a turn for the worse when Kyle shows up to enact vengeance against Joe for his arrest many years ago.

Meanwhile, Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) and Iris West (Candice Patton) are still trying to keep their relationship under the covers, especially from Joe.
