The Expendables 4 Release Date Not Confirmed But Cast News Swirls: Terry Crews Talks Crossover Film With 'Fast and Furious 7' (VIDEO)
In latest 'The Expendables 3' news, Terry Crews talked about a potential crossover film between his cast and the stars of the upcoming 'Fast and the Furious 7' film.
"Let's mix the 'Fast and the Furious' franchise and put them together with 'The Expendables' and have a mash-up. They did 'Alien vs. Predator'. I have no problem with the guys from 'The Fast and the Furious' meeting up with 'The Expendables'. That would be killer!," said Crews to IGN.
Crews also mentioned in another interview that he wants to return in the fourth film of the popular blockbuster franchise when he recently promoted the newly released 'The Expendables 3' movie.
"I was just so happy and 'Expendables 2' was actually the first sequel I ever did. I had done a lot of movies and there were rumors of White Chicks 2, or this and that, but when we got Expendables 2 I thought 'Dude I finally got a sequel, here we go!' and the world responded really well again," said Crews to Den of Geek.
He went on to say, "This is what Sly does and I will do them as much as I can, as long as I am still in them, if they invite me in I am good!"
Crews also revealed what it was like when he first worked with legendary 'Rocky' actor Sylvester Stallone in the first 'The Expendables' movie four years ago.
"The thing about working with Sly and what I'd hoped would happen, is that he is the sequel master," said Crews, "Getting my first chance to be in a big action movie when I was doing the first Expendables, I just prayed to God it did well enough so we could do another, because that's what he does, and then we had two and it did well and was a big hit worldwide."
The 46-year-old Michigan native also talked about working with Mel Gibson in the new film, despite the recent controversy surrounding the 'Lethal Weapon' actor.
"My experience with Mel...he was a star. He is a star. He's definitely sorry. People have to be allowed a second chance," said Crews to BET in an interview.
He added, "The Expendables franchise...it's like the halfway house of Hollywood! You do anything wrong, you can get in Expendables."
In other 'The Expendables 4' news, action star Jackie Chan recently addressed the rumors that he would star in the upcoming fourth film.
"...this morning I did hear - the office called - Sly [Stallone] wants me for Expendables 4," said Chan to Den of Geek on August 12.
"I said, 'Okay' because they already asked me to be in two and three, but I refused. Well, I didn't refuse, but I said, 'Sly, can't we just do you and me? Not just a bunch of people and me only coming out for five minutes.' Because then the audience is, 'Oh!' And then I'm gone."
No release date has been revealed regarding 'The Expendables 4' film as of yet, but 'The Expendables 3' movie has just arrived in the theaters on August 15.
