'The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist' Includes Amityville Case, Release Date
The sequel of the movie, "The Conjuring"is entitled, "The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist." The film was set to take place in England, however, according to recent developments, the Amityville incident that happened in Long Island will also take part in the film.
According to "Bloody Disgusting" via Latin Post, there have been some casting made by the producers of the movie that points the direction of the movie to the story of the Amityville case.
Actress Alexa Najera confirmed on twitter that she will play the part of Alison DeFeo. The info was also confirmed by the International Movie Database.
In the movie "The Amityville Horror," the Lutz family moved into a house possessed by evil spirits and could only stay there for 28 days because of the paranormal activities happening. The family flee the house; leaving all their stuff and furnitures inside.
"The Amityville Horror" movie didn't cover the family that previously owned the house prior to the Lutz, the DeFeo family. Ronnie DeFeo was convicted of the murder of his mother, father, two brothers and two sisters.
The movie franchise has a tendency of taking real incidents and making a fiction out of them. However they also take these elements in the film and later on make a separate movie out of those elements; for example, the "Annabelle" doll. Most likely, they will make a movie about the DeFeo family since it was not covered by the recent Amityville movie.
"The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist"opens on cinemas, June 10, 2016.
