'The Conjuring 2' Release Date, Spoilers: Writers Work With Lorraine Warren To Keep Script Authentic

'The Conjuring 2' is scheduled to hit the big screens on October 23, 2015, which is fitting for a horror film, as it's set to premiere during the Halloween season.

It was recently confirmed that New Line Cinema has already asked Lorraine Warren's "authorization and backing" for the second film. The franchise has effectively secured a continuation since it is already proven to be a box office hit .

Although it is pretty frightening to watch, fans are still excited to see the new movie. The film which was initially released in 2013 was a hit. James Wan directed the movie which is about the story of well-known paranormal experts, Ed and Lorraine Warren, who were called upon to help a family threatened by a wicked spirit in a secluded house.

The story ended with the family finally achieving a peaceful life as the spirit was led out of their home. It's possible that the family or even another family will be threatened by the same wicked spirit or even a new one. It is definitely a film to look forward to.

According to reports, the script will be composed once again by Carey and Chad Hayes who are working with Lorraine Warren to make the movie authentic, but still frightening and maybe even more intense than the first franchise. Reports also say that Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are to return as part of the cast.

There is no official word about the details for the sequel's plot, but what is known for sure is that the full title of the film will read, "The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist."
