Fans have been second guessing themselves about Oliver's true motives in his relationship with Aly for months now. As of yet, it is undisclosed whether or not Oliver is just using Aly to get ahead in his career with Forrester Creations, or he's actually in love. Spoilers for this week pin Rick against Oliver as he confronts him face to face and demands answers.

This all began when Oliver conveniently started showing interest in Aly during a dire moment in his life. As his job stability began to crumble before him, its possible that he latched on to the one thing that might save him, Aly. Fans have been sympathizing with Aly due to her sweet and soft spoken nature, but feel pity because she is inexperienced with romance. This is Aly's first ever love, so her naivete comes out in all her actions.

On the other side of the fence, if Oliver is using Aly to stabilize his life, he is surely putting in a lot of effort to do so, and some fans think that suits his character perfect.

According to the spoilers for the episode airing on July 2, Rick and Caroline will interrogate Oliver in an attempt to get to the bottom of Maya's recording. Caroline is skeptical of Maya's tape because she feels Oliver was coerced into saying the things that he did. Perhaps he was tricked into saying that he's dating Aly to keep his job at Forrester.

Time will reveal if Oliver is truly a selfish mastermind who has put on this facade for all this time. What can be said for sure, is that if Oliver is as malicious as the recordings make him out to be, Aly will be surely crushed and devastated.
