The second season of 'The Blacklist' finally answered a lot of questions that fans had, and answered the most famous cliffhanger in the entire series, which originated from the very first episode. While fans did not get to know if Red is Liz's father for certain, some history about the two was revealed.

The season reveals a lot about Red's intentions and most of the pieces finally come together. The series is centralized around Red, who wants to know how Berlin got the idea that he killed his daughter. He travels to Moscow in search of more answers and to track down a Russian official who they think has some part to play in the situation at hand.

Red soon finds out that Liz is working a step ahead of him because she wants Tom arrested. Later in the series, Red and Berlin find a way to work together on a cooperation basis. What Red didn't know at first was that Liz wanted to get rid of Berlin once and for all, but that's not all!

The season gets spicier as we see the relationship between Red and Liz develop into something more than what we would call mutual alliance. Now we've seen in the first season that Red isn't the emotional type, but in the second season he seems to have adopted a sentimental demeanor.

Liz however struggles in the series to keep her secret. She's keeping Tom (her former husband) as a prisoner and she doesn't want anyone else to know about it. Red, however, keeps closing in on her.

Season 1 left us in awe about whether or not Red and Tom were somehow related to each other. Who was pulling whose strings? Season 2, luckily answers several of these highly anticipated questions, but it doesn't tell us everything! Episode 8 of the series was aired on November 10, on NBC.
