"The Bible" Series: Highlights of Hour 1 of Episode 4 Airing Now on The History Channel

"The Bible" series on The History Channel currently airing Episode 4 simply entitled, "Mission".   

This full two hour episode is focused on Jesus mission and life as people begin to discover who He is and why He is here.  

Here are some of the highlights from the first hour of episode 4.   

As Jesus is speaking in a small village when some people lift their paralyzed man through a roof to reach Jesus.  Jesus heals the man of his paralzsis and starts the unrest with the pharisees; Jesus heals an "untouchable" lepor and makes him clean and healed; Jesus calls the tax collector (which are known as some of worst people in that day) to come and follow Him and be a disciple'; Jesus stopping the pharisees from stoning the prostitute woman by saying, "I will give my stone to the first who has not committed a sin" and everyone walks away.  He tells her, "go and sin no more"; - Jesus feeds the crowd of 5,000 after blessing it "don't worry about daily needs.  God will provide.  Put God first and everything else will follow.  Your hunger for righteousness will be filled through me"; The disciples see Jesus walking on water, they think it is a ghost.  When He gets closer, they realize it is Jesus and He asks Peter to come and walk on water.  Peter does and is able to walk on water; Lazarus gets raised to life by Jesus.
