"The Bible" Mini-Series on The History Channel: Who Is The Man Playing Peter? (VIDEO)

"The Bible" 10 hour mini-series on The History Channel just aired it's 4th episode last night with the 5th and final episode airing on Easter (March 31).

Many have spoken of Diogo Morgado, who plays Jesus, and the spectacular job that he has done, especially in last nights episode that was two hours of the ministry of Jesus.

However, Darwin Shaw, the man playing Peter has done an outstanding job as well.  Shaw has encompassed perceived passion that Peter would have displayed while being a disciple along side Jesus.  Peter (Shaw) comes across so heart-broken when Jesus tells him that he would betray him 3 times on the night of his arrest.  Shaw's dedication to the role of Peter really comes through in an authentic way in "The Bible" series.

I am excited to see how Peter and all of the other characters are played out on film in the final episode including Jesus death and ressurection entitled "Passion" this coming Sunday night.

Darwin Shaw, is a British stage, film and television actor.  He was formerly a medical doctor and he retrained as an actor at LAMDA in 2004 after studying theatre in New York City.
