‘The Bachelorette’ 2014 Spoilers: Guys Battle for a Date Rose

The Bachelorette 2014, Episode 4, showed the male contestants in a competitive basketball league, a challenge required to win a date rose with Andi Dorfman. The latest episode of ABC's match-making show featured five WNBA players to spice up the friendly competition. The Bachelorette also offered tribute to the deceased Eric Hill.

Hill was a former contestant on The Bachelorette 2014, but had an early exit after Dorfman did not find mutual chemistry with the outdoorsman. Andi and Eric parted ways after the 31-year-old bachelor accused her of posing a poker face for TV.

Andi was offended but admitted that she totally respected Eric's opinion.

"There is a part of me that doesn't want to waste another minute of yours. You're calling me fake. What am I supposed to do with that?"

In the most recent rose ceremony which aired June 2, the bachelorette and host Chris Harrison decided to dedicate the episode for Hill after his untimely passing due to a paragliding accident in Utah.

Dorfman remembered her first encounter with the deceased explorer and noted that she wanted to be a part of his adventures on their one-on-one date.

"From walking out of the limo this was a guy who was well traveled, who kind of had everything I was looking for," she announced during Episode 4.

In his blog, Harrison described Hill as smart and an instigator.

"He loved to stir the pot a little bit, and that's what he did with Andi. When I saw that sly little smile slide across his face while arguing with Andi that night, I just laughed. Even in that moment, he was having fun. At the end of it all, they ended their disagreement with a hug goodbye. When does that ever happen on our show?" reported Entertainment Weekly.

The Bachelorette airs every Monday night on ABC.
