'The Bachelor' 2015 News, Contestants: Chris Soules is the Next Contender
'The Bachelor', ABC's dating game show that first premiered in March of 2002, just announced its latest bachelor who will be tasked to choose from 25 available women. In a segment on the network's popular talk show 'Good Morning America', former 'Bachelorette' contender Chris Soules confirmed that he had been chosen by the dating show's producers to be the next bachelor for the series' 2015 edition.
According to Soules, he is humbled and flattered by the opportunity given to him by the network giant, and that everyone, including his family, has been supportive of him.
Soules was a fan-favorite and a runner-up in the previous 'Bachelorette' contest, where he competed against a handful other men for Andi Dorfman's love. Soules made it up to the hometown dates stage before he was eventually eliminated and Dorfman ultimately chose Josh Murray as her future life partner.
Although Soules was not successful in winning the young woman's heart, he said that he believes in the process which he went through in the show, and that he hadn't expected to fall in love so quickly. The 32-year-old farmer from Arlington, Iowa said that this is the very reason why he decided to do the show.
Another contender and a runner up to Emily Maynard's 'Bachelorette' contest who was allegedly also considered to take on the role of being the Bachelor for 2015 was Arie Luyendyk Jr.
Luyendyk Jr. was reportedly the first to hint that Soules was the Bachelor for 2015 through a post on the social media platform Twitter that said the he wasn't the Bachelor, and went on to tell his followers to "have fun with the farm people."
'The Bachelor' 2015 is reported to have already started filming at the Iowa State Fair where Soules met Rick Perry.
