‘The Bachelor 2015’ New Contestant: 25-Year-Old Mother of Two- Michelle Davis
The seventh female who will be competing for the love of Chris Soules on ABC's 'The Bachelor' 2015 has been revealed. Michelle Davis, a 25-year-old mother of two from Utah, will be one of the ladies who will participate in the popular match making reality show.
The recently revealed contestant became pregnant at the age of 17, and was married shortly after. The marriage apparently did not work out, since she got divorced two years ago.
She attended Utah Valley University, and is currently employed by a smart home technology company.
The filming for the 2015 edition of 'The Bachelor' has recently started. The first night of shooting allegedly occurred on Sept 25, but not much else has been disclosed about the show.
Show creator Mike Fleiss, however, revealed that the night was bizarre and great at the same time. "Gonna be a wild ride..." Fleiss said about the season via Twitter.
About the group of girls participating for the show's upcoming season, ABC executive Robert Mills offered his comments about them over Twitter.
"I can honestly say we've got a fantastic crop of girls for our #PrinceFarming Chris Soules. #TheBachelor," read Mills's tweet.
Meanwhile, former "Bachelor" Sean Lowe revealed something about the show that disappointed some of its fans.
Lowe, the first "Bachelor," who ended up marrying his chosen winner, revealed his observations regarding the show.
"One of the surprising things that I learned while on the show is this: the producers really - no, really! - believe in true love. They want nothing more than a proposal and a wedding at the end of each season. The producers know that the magic recipe for high ratings is tons of drama capped off with the true love and a fairy tale ending. Each year, they go to great lengths to try and find compatible contestants during the casting process," he said.
However, Lowe also revealed that the producers also look for some contestants who can be placed in the show for the sole purpose of entertaining the viewers.
"The producers are also there to make a television show. After the good, solid matches are cast, the producers look for the type of people who make for entertaining television for Category Crazy," stated Lowe.
In his post, Lowe went on to say some nice things concerning the current bachelor.
"Chris, you have a lot of excitement, adventure, and - yes - romance ahead of you!," Lowe concluded.
