'Terminator 5' Release Date News, Spoilers: Premiere Set For July 2015
Rumor has it that the highly anticipated fifth installment to the 'Terminator' series has already started filming. While it is not yet official, rumors say that the upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger film could see a Summer 2015 release date.
With Paramount pictures on board in terms of funding, fans are gearing up to see Arnold in action like they've never seen him before.
The original 'Terminator' Schwarzenegger is now much older than he was when the first film launched; the Governor/actor/bodybuilder is 66-years-old. If fans think this will pose a problem in the new movie, they can set their concerns aside, as an answer to this dilemma has been disclosed. Apparently, while the robots in the film series are made of metal, they have human skin which accounts for any aging that will be noticeable in the upcoming 'Terminator 5'.
Also, Dwayne Johnson is rumored to be playing an evil robot in the new movie. Beyond that, fans should expect that better CGI will be involved in this 'Terminator' film, as technology has advanced since the initial debut of the popular franchise.
Producers for the project has been quoted by saying that moviegoers can expect some time travel to take place in this film. Additionally, they said that the title for the film might just be plain and simple 'Terminator'.
A new director is on the production team, Alan Taylor, who is credited with his work on various TV and cinema hits. Taylor is known for TV's 'Game of Thrones', 'The Sopranos', and 'Sex and the City', and also the 'Thor: The Dark World' film.
On a side note, in terms of casting, the new film will see Emilia Clarke, of 'Game of Thrones' fame, in the role of Sarah Connor.
As of July 29, 2014, the filming of a major portion of the movie has been completed. This reboot of the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie series has been confirmed to be released by July 2015 with Arnold as T-800. A new and futuristic set has been designed and will be a very significant element of the movie.
