The Titans (2-4) are trying to step up their game in the upcoming matchup when they face-off against the Redskins this Sunday.

Tennessee squeaked out a win against the Jaguars by a score of 16-14 in their last match on October 12.

Titan's defensive lineman Jurrell Casey felt this game was "huge" as it snapped their four-game losing streak.

"We've been fighting for a win for so long and to come out with a win like this, it's kind of a bummer. But at the end of the day, a win is a win, and we fought to the end," Casey said.

Quarterback Charlie Whitehurst shared his teammate's sentiments about the importance of the win, he said "It was a relief."

Adding, "I think we kind of controlled the game most of the game, and we weren't able to sustain a drive in the second half to put it away. It would've been a little easier on everybody's hearts. It's a win, and we're very happy about it."

However, the Washington Redskins (1-5) are looking to pull their team back on track when they face-off against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

The Redskins suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals on October 12, by a score of 30-20.

Redskins' QB Kirk Cousins tried to pinpoint why the game turned as sour as it did, he said, "The turnovers were costly," adding, "They just didn't give us a chance to stay on the field."

Washington coach Jay Gruden tried to reason with his team before the game, but evidently failed in getting through to them.

"I told our team this game is not that hard to figure out," Gruden said to reporters after the game, "The team that makes plays usually wins. The team that doesn't turn the ball over usually wins. We are not doing anything. It is a broken record every time I stand up here."
