Tedashii Releases Timely New Single ‘Splash' Featuring 1K Phew, Honors Martin Luther King Jr.

Christian rapper Tedashii on Friday released his latest single, "Splash ft. 1K Phew," the follow up to his previous release "Messenger." "Splash" brings a timely message just in time for Martin Luther King Jr. Day that every person is here for a reason, to make a splash, to "make a mark that never leaves."

Tedashii and 1K Phew raps:

I have a dream, rep the King like Doctor King

Where you want to come up from your knees

All you want is to succeed

Message to the ceiling, Heaven how I livin'?

I came from the bottom

No, ain't no coming down now

I'm too lit, watch me hop up out the grave

On social media, fans praised the new release, with Instagram user shem_rtbStraight commenting, "Straight [FIRE]." 

Another user, with the handle my_precious.queendom, shares, "Just got done listening 2 it & its AMAZING [HEARTS] I love it." User isaac.aa64, says, "Such great music man! I've been listening to you since I was like 8 years old."

In the past, Tedashii has released a number of studio albums and EPs, including Below Paradise which debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. In addition, the Texas-born rapper has collaborated with many Christian artists such as Lecrae and Crowder, delivering poignant, hard-hitting lyrics in many diverse musical styles.
