Ted 2 is well on its way to the big screen as recent rumors emerge revealing that Amanda Seyfriend will most likely be portraying the role of the brash teddy bear's love interest in the film.

Macfarlane's original Ted film was a success at the box office, which makes this movie, the second installment, highly anticipated. Current reports claim that the film is in the pre-production stage, where the script is being defined and revised. Les Miserables actress, Sefried, is said to be joining the cast, and better yet, set to be singing in the upcoming blockbuster.

"He's an amazing singer, I'm not as good, but he thinks I am so he wrote me a song to sing in Ted 2...which is gonna be interesting," Seyfried said of MacFarlane.

It seems like the Dear John actress will be taking over the lead female role which previously belonged to Mila Kunis, who is currently pregnant with her first child (with Ashton Kutcher) and will not be reprising her role. Fans are left wondering about what will happen to Jessica Barth is Seyfried turns out to be Ted's love interest. Barth actually played the role of Tami-Lynn, Ted's human girlfriend, in the original. Mark Wahlberg will also reprise his role for the Ted 2 as the male lead actor.

The thunder buddies will once again bring laughter to the audience. The release date for the film is slated for June 26, 2015.
