'Ted 2' is gearing up to hit the big screen as it continues its production in preparation for its release date slated in 2015.

Fans are expecting something big from the foul-mouthed teddy bear when the sequel launches in theaters. Sources say that this time around the film will head in a different direction than what most were used to in the original 'Ted'. Apparently, the sequel will be even crazier than the first which seems like a hard thing to accomplish, but surely has fans excited. One thing that stands out is that fans are looking forward to seeing a possible transformation in the lead character.

A lot of the rumors surrounding the upcoming installment stem from an interview with Mark Wahlberg who played John in the first movie. The actor hinting about Seth MacFarlane's ideas and course of action for 'Ted 2', "Seth's ideas for the second one are sick. He comes from the world of episodic television so he knows how to tell the stories, man, in a way that most people don't."

In terms of the new movie's cast, Amanda Seyfriend will join most of the original cast to play the role of Ted's love interest. However, Jessica Barth will still reprise her role as the teddy bear's human girlfriend. This sets up the possibility that fans would see a love triangle involved in this addition to the series. Mark Wahlberg will be returning to play his role in the film, and Mila Kunis has once again joined the cast, but this time she will play a minor role compared to her contribution in the original 'Ted'.

The release date for 'Ted 2' is set for June 26, 2015.
